1) Overview
AppHub app and any associated website operated by the Developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) are designed with privacy in mind.
We collect the following analytics data:
• in the app: basic technical data via Google Firebase, used to understand and verify app license activation
• on this website (https://bringbacklaunchpad.com): page-visit analytics via Google Analytics to understand site traffic and performance.
This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
2) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to:
• The AppHub desktop application; and
• Any informational website we operate for the app.
(Collectively, the “Services”.)
3) Information We Collect
A) App analytics (Google Firebase)
We use Firebase to record purchase-related events so we can confirm that license activation works correctly and to understand overall purchase performance. Examples of data points Firebase may process include:
• Event details (e.g., purchase initiated/succeeded/failed, product ID/price tier, currency, timestamp)
• App information (app version, platform, general device model)
• A pseudonymous app instance identifier assigned by Firebase
• Basic diagnostics related to the purchase flow
What we don’t use Firebase for: advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.
B) Website analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics on bringbacklaunchpad.com to measure page views and improve the website. Data points may include:
• Page URLs visited and on-site interactions
• Browser and device information, approximate geolocation (derived from IP)
• Referrer/UTM parameters and timestamps
• Cookies and similar technologies that help recognize returning visits
What we don’t use Google Analytics for: advertising personalization or selling data.
4) Information We Do Not Collect
We do not ask you for or intentionally collect:
• Names, emails, phone numbers, or contact lists
• Exact GPS location
• Social media logins or plugins
5) How We Use the Information
• Ensure purchases work as expected (e.g., validate that a purchase was completed, identify and fix issues in the purchase flow)
• Understand overall product usage at a high level (aggregate counts and trends)
• Improve site performance and content (which pages are visited, where visitors arrive from)
We do not build personal profiles and do not use analytics data for targeted advertising.
6) Data Storage & Retention
Analytics data is stored by Google. We retain analytics only as long as necessary for the purposes stated above and to meet legal or operational requirements. Where available, we configure retention to the shortest practical duration for our use case.
7) Sharing & Selling of Data
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
• Service providers (processors) that operate analytics on our behalf (Google Firebase, Google Analytics); and
• Where required, legal authorities in response to valid legal process.
We may publish aggregated, de-identified statistics (e.g., total purchases per version), which cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.
AppHub app offers an optional feature to organize user applications using service provided by Google Gemini (Google LLC). If you choose to use this feature, a list of your installed applications will be sent to Google for processing. This data transmission occurs only when you explicitly initiate the action within the AppHub app. We do not store this data; it is used solely for the purpose of immediate processing by the Google service. Google's processing of this data is subject to their privacy practices. For more information, please visit the Google Privacy Policy.
8) Third-Party Services
Our Services use:
• Google Firebase (app analytics)
• Google Analytics (website analytics)
• Google Gemini (optional AppHub feature)
These providers may process data on servers in multiple countries and act as our processors for the limited purposes described. Please refer to their documentation and privacy materials for details on their data handling.
Platform providers (e.g., Apple, Google) and your network operator may also process technical data as part of their services; their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
9) Your Choices
• App (Firebase, Gemini)
- If your device/OS provides privacy controls that limit analytics, we respect those where technically possible.
- If we add an in-app analytics toggle in the future, we will update this Policy to describe it.
- Using Google Gemini service via AppHub app is completely optional.
• Website (Google Analytics)
- You can use your browser’s settings to block or delete cookies.
- You can use industry opt-out tools and privacy features (e.g., private browsing) to limit analytics.
10) Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required by local law). If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us. We will take appropriate steps consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
11) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to processing. Because we do not collect contact details, requests may be limited. If you contact us, we will work with our processors (Google) to address applicable requests.
12) International Transfers
Google may process analytics data on servers outside your country. We rely on our processors’ safeguards for international transfers as applicable to their services.
